What is the cost of mentoring?

Running a premier mentoring organization comes with a price. Every child that we enroll into our program and every volunteer that we accept into our program has a cost associated with it.

This will give you an idea of the kind of expenses we have in order to run our mentoring program:

$25	the cost of a volunteer background check
$50	the expense of monthly safety contact for 4 children
$100	the expense of a volunteer interview and home visit
$100	the expense of a new parent & volunteer enrollment for one month
$300	the complete cost of processing a volunteer to match with a child
$500	the complete cost of enrolling and matching a child to a mentor

 


With that being said, we do not receive any government funding to support our program. All funds come from fundraising events, individual donations, grant awards, or endowment transfers. We count on the support from our community to fund our mentoring program that allow us to continue serving kids here in the Inland Northwest.
